Terms of use

Last updated: September 30, 2026

By using Throwable, you accept these terms. Throwable is published by Luke Montgomery, 1 allée de Charlary, 31180 Rouffiac-Tolosan, France. Contact: contact@throwable.app.

The service

Throwable lets you create shared photo albums whose photos stay hidden until a reveal date you choose. The service is provided as is; we do our best to keep it running, but we can’t guarantee it will always be available or that no data will ever be lost.

Your account

What you post

Your photos, videos and texts remain yours. You allow us to store them and show them to the people your settings allow (album members, or everyone for a public album), solely to run Throwable.

Only post content you have the right to share, and respect the people in your photos: don’t post a photo of someone who doesn’t want it posted.

What is prohibited

Throwable has zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive users. By creating an account, you agree not to post:

Reporting and moderation

Every photo, album, comment and profile can be reported from the app, and you can block any user. We review reports within 24 hours and may, without notice, remove content that breaks these rules and suspend or delete its author’s account.

Liability

Each user is responsible for the content they post. Throwable is not responsible for content posted by users, but acts promptly to remove illegal content as soon as it becomes aware of it.

Changes and governing law

We may change these terms; if a change is significant, we will let you know in the app. These terms are governed by French law.
